Fabritec 5939 PREFERRED STARCH is a uniquely formulated blend of premium drum dried corn starch and synthetic resin. It is designed to give laundered and wetclean items a smooth and full-bodied hand. It is equally effective on all cotton or polyester blend fabric.

PREFERRED STARCH disperses instantly and penetrates fully, leaving no highlights or buildup on the fabric when used with the SHIRT LAUNDRY System. PREFERRED STARCH can be added directly to the wash wheel or can easily flush through a supply hopper at the beginning of the starch bath. PREFERRED STARCH outperforms competitive starches even in lower water temperatures, but gives optimum quality at 90° to 100°F.

PREFERRED STARCH usage rate for shirts:

Medium Body: 12-16 oz. per 100 lbs.
Time: 8 minutes
Wash Level: Low

Note: Usage is dependent upon desired crispness. Fabritec SOUR BUFF should be used with Fabritec's PREFERRED STARCH for optimum results.
